The architecture

Every credential in use today is a copy of something.

A key is a shape. A card is a number. A password is a string. Each one is a fixed value that a system compares to a stored value, which is exactly why each one can be lifted, cloned, phished or shared. 1AHEAD removes the fixed value entirely.

The legacy model: static

A stored secret, checked against a copy

Every legacy method (metal keys, RFID and NFC cards, fobs, PINs, passwords, even stored biometric templates) works by holding a value and matching it. The value is the vulnerability: it is what replay, relay, cloning, spoofing and man-in-the-middle attacks all exploit.

  • RFID and NFC badges can be cloned in seconds with hardware that costs less than lunch
  • Stolen and reused credentials remain the single largest route into enterprise systems
  • A lost fob is a lost building until every lock is re-keyed

An encrypted image, validated in context

A 1AHEAD credential is a Non-Fungible Key: an image, photograph or even a sketch, transformed into a cryptographically verifiable credential bound to a holder, a device, a place and a window of time. Computer vision and AI validate it live, then it is spent.

  • Nothing is typed, so nothing can be keylogged, phished or shoulder-surfed
  • The credential changes on every use, so a captured one is already worthless
  • Keys are issued, delegated and revoked instantly, from a phone

How it works

The key is generated

A credential is created as an encrypted image and bound to a person, a device, a location and a time window. It can carry instructions with it: a delivery note, an access reason, a message for whoever receives it.

The key is shown

The holder presents it to a camera: a doorbell, a phone, a kiosk, a vehicle, a robot. There is no keypad, no card reader, no app to fight with. Showing is the whole interaction.

The key is spent

Computer vision reads it, AI validates it against live context, and access is granted or refused in real time. The credential is consumed on use, and the next one is different.

Non-fungible keys

Send someone a key the way you'd send a photo.

A key can be created, given a message, handed to one person or a whole team, and taken back, all from a phone. The recipient never installs a reader, never types a code, and never holds anything that would still work tomorrow.

The same mechanism secures a front door, a fulfillment center, an ATM, and a ballot.
